Call for Papers
The framework topic for the open call for papers of the Zagreb IAPL Colloquium is Judicial Efficiency and Procedural Proportionality.
Submission Guidelines:
All interested individuals are encouraged to submit a brief summary or outline of their proposed paper by April 1, 2025. Submissions should be no longer than 1,000 characters (including spaces and footnotes). Proposals can be submitted in English, Spanish, or Portuguese. Only one submission per person will be accepted. Proposals that do not align with the framework topic will not be considered.

Selection Process
We aim to notify applicants of the status of their submissions as soon as possible, and no later than May 1, 2025. Proposals will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
1. Relevance to the main theme of the Congress and the framework topic;
2. Innovation and creativity;
3. Sound reasoning and originality;
4. Clarity, coherence, and argumentation.
Full Paper Submission
Accepted applicants will be invited to submit a full paper by June 30, 2025. The paper must be written in English, Spanish, or Portuguese, and should not exceed 50,000 characters, including spaces, footnotes, and bibliography.
Selected papers will be distributed electronically and may be published separately. Authors will also be invited to present their papers, in English, during the relevant session of the Colloquium.
